A taxi ride to downtown costs about $25 and is probably the easiest option for local transportation.  An alternative is Airport Taxi & Limousine Service, which offers scheduled shuttles for $9 per person (http://www.airporttaxiri.com).

Boston’s Logan Airport is approximately 1 hour’s drive to the north and may be reached on Bonanza Bus, http://www.bonanzabus.com.

Parking

Brown University has an urban campus—parking is extremely limited and tightly regulated.  Parking is available at the conference hotels.  For special cases, a very limited number of on-campus parking passes may be available through the Conference Chair in advance of the meeting, at a cost of $7 per day.  These passes would be for the Athletic Center lot, about 5 blocks from the meeting site.
