This project
is studying microstructural evolution and constitutive
behavior of materials during quick plastic forming.
There are two current projects
1.
Experimental studies of texture evolution during high
temperature deformation of aluminum alloys (Sumit
Agarwal, Clyde Briant)
2. Numerical
simulations of constitutive response and microstructure
evolution during high temperature deformation of
polycrystals (Sumit Agarwal, Emeric Wininger, Allan
Bower)
