Instructors:

Course Description:

Multidisciplinary teams of students from engineering and other technical and non-technical disciplines form a core business unit to work on an industry-defined problem beginning from product conception to commercialization.  Intellectual property, marketing and market analysis, human factors, safety and environmental concerns, and legal considerations are emphasized.  The intent of the course is to assemble student teams with core competencies in different areas.  It is expected that each team member will bring a different skill set to the project, which is why there are no formal prerequisites for the course.  However, EN90 is recommended.  Enrollement is limited to 24.  Interested students must fill out an application and deliver it to one of the course instructors by the Spring of 1999. Additional information may be found here.
