Grading policy:

Homework : 20% (5-10 problems in a week)
Laboratory: 15% (based on attendance and lab reports)
Design Project : 15% (preliminary design, calculations, performance, etc.)
Midterm Exam : 20%
Final Exam : 30%

Homeworks: weekly assignments (normally due on Friday)

Examinations: Midterm: in-class exam; Final: December 19, 2009, 2:00pm-5:00pm

Laboratory/Project: 2 laboratories (pay attention to sign up sheets) and final design project (team)

Notes :

(a) Laboratory experiments cannot be arranged outside of allotted time slots; sign up promptly when labs are announced.

 

(b) Homework solutions will be posted on our web site on the due date; late homework cannot be accepted once the solution is out. 

 

(c) Exam date/time cannot be changed under normal circumstances.

 

(d) The tenets of Brown’s Academic Code will be followed.
