- 12/21/2007: Final exam solutions are now
posted. Click the Exams page above.
- 12/20/2007: You can pick up your final exam
from Prof. Guduru's office. Your course grade is marked on the front page of
the exam.
- 12/20/2007: You can pick up your lab reports
and design project reports from the box outside Prof. Guduru's office.
- 12/06/2007: FINAL EXAM: You are allowed to
bring your class notes, homework, homework solutions from the course
website, the textbook and calculators. Although the exam is scheduled 9 am -
noon on Dec 13, 2007, you can come in and start an hour early at 8am and
stay an hour late until 1pm. Check BannerWeb for exam location.
- 12/06/2007:Design Project: The sign up sheet
for final design testing and evaluation is now posted outside Chris bull's
office (on the blackboard). It will be on Monday Dec 10th, from 8 am to 5:00
pm. Each team will be given 50 minutes for their demonstration. Please
reserve a slot ASAP.

- 12/05/2007: There will be a final review on
Wednesday, 12/12/2007, 9:00 - 9:50am, the day before the final exam.
- 12/05/2007: The sections on 12/06/2007 will be
devoted for review. Come prepared with questions and problems you want to
discuss.
- 11/27/2007:
Solution for Homework #10 is
now posted.
- Design Project: The sign up sheet for doing
test runs on the shake table is posted outside Chris Bull's office. Each
group can reserve a 1/2 hr slot at any time to avoid conflicts with others.
- 11/19/2007: The Lab2 reports are due before
noon, 21st Nov (Wednesday). Please submit them in the drop box
outside room number 348/350.
- 11/13/2007: Solution for
Homework #9 is now posted.
- 11/13/2007: Due to logistical issues, all
design teams must have 5 members. If you have fewer than 5, please add more
members to make it 5. If not, your team will be assigned new members by
Prof. Guduru.

348/350 of B and H. If you haven't reserved a slot yet, do it ASAP.

- 11/02/2007: Sunil Mandowara would not be holding office hours between

- 10/17/2007: For the Lab 1 each student has to
do their own analysis and submit individual report. There are no group
submissions. The lab 1 reports are due on 22nd
October (Monday) by 4:00 PM in the drop box
outside room number 348/350.
- 10/15/2007: Graded HW # 4 can be picked up from the box outside Prof.
Guduru's office.
- 10/15/2007: Tuesday's review session will be
held in RM 158 B&H from 6 to 7pm. Email Jean with questions/topics
prior to the review.
- 10/15/2007: Due to the midterm exam, the due date for HW # 5 has been
moved to Friday, 10/19/2007, 10 am. HW # 6 will be due on the following
Thursday.

- 10/12/2007: The midterm exam will be held on
Wednesday, Oct 17, 2007. You are allowed to bring your class notes,
homework, homework solutions from the course website, any other material in
your own writing and calculators. No textbooks. Although the exam will be
designed as a one hour exam (3 problems), to minimize any time pressure, you
will have almost two hours to complete the exam, 8am - 9:50am. The
exam will be held in rooms 155 and 163 B&H.

Lab1 report guidelines. It includes a
correction for the Vr formula.
- 10/10/2007: There is a jacket in Prof. Guduru's office left behind by a
student who stopped by during the office hours. Please pick it up.

- 09/24/2007: A message from Sara Berglund:
The Science Resource Center is looking for a
group tutor to run group study sessions once a week for EN 3. The
sessions will be the same format as the HELP sessions for EN 4, 52, and
72 last semester where students work collaboratively with a tutor
present to go over concepts and answer questions. For EN 3 we are hoping
to focus on building the physics background necessary for EN 3,
especially for students who have not taken physics in high school. The
tutor would work an average of 2 to 3 hours each week and be paid $12 an
hour. If interested please email
