Professor Webster Speaks at the First International Symposium on Applied Nanomedicine at Qatar
Professor Thomas J. Webster (Associate Professor, Divisions of Engineering and Orthopedics) joined a Canadian delegation to speak at the First International Symposium on Applied Nanomedicine at Doha, Qatar March 9th and 10th. Professor Webster spoke of implantable nanomaterial devices as well as how nanomedicine could meet medical needs in Qatar and its surrounding region. The meeting was organized by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development which is a private, chartered, nonprofit organization founded in 1995 by His Highness Sheikn Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar.
